Recently, I was at Hobby Lobby and I fell in love with a candle that I am going to use for the centerpiece. As an added bonus all candle items were priced half off. We are going set these on round table with a black table cloth and a white overlay. I think it will look really classy!

Shoes, Jewelery and love of the Cubs!!!

Tonight the Cubs beat the Phillys!!! My Dad and I watched the game and it was one the best games I have seen in a long time!!! So I am confessing I am in love with the Cubs!!! Ever since I was a little girl they have been a staple in my life and win or loose they are always my team! I finally got my shoes from Nordstroms off the rack!!! They are black Anne Klein peep-toe kitten heals and I am so happy with them. Currently, I am breaking them in because because they are a little squeeky!! :P

Finally, I bought my jewlery at a little place here in Dallas called Soho! I think these will go perfectly with my vintage theme!

The Great Jewelery Dilemma of 2010

I am having a Hair/Jewelry dilemma because I really love both of these hairstyles, but I am unsure of what kind of jewelry to wear. I really wanted to wear some pear shaped drop earrings, but I am thinking those will be too bling! Thoughts?

Trial Shoes

I am still on the hunt for perfect shoes for the ceremony. I really would love to find some black peep toes that are fancy enough, but I am coming up short handed so I thought I would order these black patent leather flats and add a shoe clip from etsy. Thoughts?

This is a close up of my engagement ring. A friend of mine posted her close up so I thought it was a good idea too! This ring is from Simon G... I am madly in love with it and I am thinking that I love this ring so much that I don't want to cover it up with a band.

Centerpieces

In keeping with our white and black theme I thought these centerpieces were the perfect combination of vintage and classic. I want to use the black votive candle in the frosted white tea lights for contrast. Enjoy!

Cakes

In keeping with the white and black theme we are having a damask square cake!!! We are very excited! I hope you all enjoy the pictures. These cake are by Janet Rosebeary cakes in Guthrie, Oklahoma. We have an appointment with her in July and we are planning on having her make our cake!!! :)
